Additional Information: At this meeting the group will be reading chapter 4 (the last three parts) of Corliss Lamont's book "The Philosophy of Humanism". This is a great summary of humanism and probably the seminal book on the subject. It is getting a little dated, but there is still a tremendous amount of relevant material in the book. We will be using the 8th edition which is the last published. Attending this would be a way to meet humanists and atheists that may not attend some of the other groups. So, come and enjoy some interesting conversation with other humanists, atheists and other freethinkers and enjoy some food, if you wish. Children are welcome.
