Additional Information: The Voice of Reason is the only radio program in Kansas City presented from a free thought perspective. It is hosted by Don Kemerling and Gary Purdom who present topics about philosophy, political events, free thought, humanism, atheism, agnosticism, etc. They are assisted by Lee Knox and Greg Swartz. The program can be heard anywhere in the world via the airways or streaming audio on the internet.

Additional Information: Come and have breakfast with the programmers on the Voice of Reason after the broadcast! One or more of the programmers will generally be having breakfast at Chubby's on Broadway, so listeners are welcome to come, break the fast, discuss the show or discuss whatever comes to their minds. The programmers have a few duties to take care of at KKFI following the broadcast, but generally can be at the restaurant by 8:30 a.m. Listen at the end of the broadcast for any last minute changes!

Additional Information: For four Sundays in January, freethinkers attended the Heartland Community Church for a series entitled "Exit" dealing with the issue of why people, particularly the young, are leaving churches for various other beliefs. Afterwards, some have been meeting at Schlotzky's nearby to discuss the experience.
